We in the Shire of Grey Gargoyles participate in a wide variety of Arts & Sciences of the Middle Ages and Rennaisance, including dance, cooking, instrumental and vocal music, brewing and vintning, making clothing, spinning and weaving, armouring, painting, calligraphy and illumination, embroidery, blackwork, and many other diverse works.

Four of our members have received the accolade of the Laurel, the SCA's highest recognition of excellence in Arts & Sciences: Amelie d'Anjou for Music, Constance Grey for Embroidery and Domestic Arts, Constance Fairfax for Music and Late Period Costuming, and Thomas Penyngton for Meadmaking and Diverse 14th Century Studies.
